Thanks John. The same lake pic my dad said to blow up as well. Weather was amazing and even better was seeing all the family. Hope more Canadians will visit NZ and be inspired by the pics and words. All the best with your new media positions and ushering the world to the 2011 World Cup.

That pic of Lake Matheson with the Mount Cook relfection is honestly one of the very best I’ve ever seen. Suggest you blow that one up poster size and stick it somewhere around the apartment. Was great to have you guys visiting. You got some great weather and experienced some top adventures touring the most beautiful country in the world. Good luck settling back into working life (and remembering where you left that razor).

Stunning pictures Mark. I love the temples, rice patties, and other intricate carvings. I also enjoyed the park about the crafty monkeys. The black fish you thought were a form of clowns are Domino Damsils. I had 2 in my aquarium and they were cool fish. One neat thing they did was make a sound like a dove during feeding. It was amazing hearing it outside of the tank. But the downside was that they were very aggressive. They’d kill any new fish that I introduced so I eventually got rid of them.

I also love the beard. Looks like a lot of work went into it. You could totally pass for a San Fran Giants pitcher. See you on the snowy side!

I can well understand why Mark received all that attention fron the Indonesian women, its nothing to do with his beard – its simply because he’s an Eccleton male. We have to put up with all this attention from the female of the species for our entire lives, he’ll get used to it
